Terms of Service

Last updated: March 7, 2026

By using the PaperDrop Telegram bot ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service description

PaperDrop is a Telegram bot that converts publicly accessible web articles into EPUB files. You send the bot a URL, and it returns a formatted EPUB file that you can read on any compatible e-reader or reading app.

2. Personal use only

The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial reading only. You may use it to convert articles for your own private reading. You may not:

3. Content ownership

The articles you convert remain the intellectual property of their original authors and publishers. The Service merely changes the format for personal reading convenience. We do not claim any ownership over the content of converted articles.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the converted content complies with applicable copyright laws and the terms of the original publisher.

4. No guarantee of quality

We strive to produce clean, well-formatted EPUB files, but we cannot guarantee that every conversion will be perfect. Websites vary widely in structure, and some pages may not convert cleanly. Specifically:

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

5. Usage limits

Free users are limited to 5 conversions per month. Pro subscribers have unlimited conversions. We reserve the right to adjust these limits to maintain service quality.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Telegram Payments (powered by Stripe). You can cancel your subscription at any time through the bot. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are provided.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

8. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these terms or are abusing the Service. In the case of a paid subscription, we will provide a prorated refund for the remaining period.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaperDrop and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the Telegram bot. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
